Information System for Internet Service Provider
Straňák, Slavomír ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describe information system for internet service provider (ISP) with NetFlow technology for monitoring of networks. The thesis characterizes whole NetFlow architecture, individual protocols, their best advantages and frequency application. It specifies detail design and implementation of information system and their basic parts. To achievement this design was applied technology XHTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL, which offer strong implement for making of dynamic application available on network Internet.
Design and implementation of network collector
Bošeľa, Jaroslav ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Oujezský, Václav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with description of information protocol of network flow, mainly definition of Cisco NetFlow version 9. Describes it’s features, message format and attributes of transmitted data. The thesis is primarly focused onto NetFlow v9 transmitted template, which defines fileds and data in consecutive data flow. The essence of the thesis consists in implementation of simple NetFlow v9 parser, which has been programmed in Python prog.language, it’s tests of captured UDP data from file and port capture testing on development server in lab. There is a possibility of saving captured and parsed data into prepared database within implementation as output from capturing.

Kozminský, Marek ; Hornýš, Michal (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with proposal for reconstruction of the section of the D46 motorway and the adjacent motorway junction designated as Exit 2 Vyškov. The area in question is located in the non-built-up area of the town of Vyškov. The D46 motorway crosses first-class road number II/430 at this point, which connects with the II/430 road at the intersection. The intersection we are concerned with is plagued by several problems. The first is the unsatisfactory connection of road number II/430 in the eastern part of the intersection, where the indirect branch has no slip road, meaning that vehicles are forced to stop here, resulting in clogging of the exit from Vyškov to Olomouc. Another problem is the turn-off to the petrol station in the western part of the intersection. The problem occurs at the location of the turn-off to the previously mentioned petrol station, where approximately 100 m from the turn-off there is an indirect branch of the western part of the intersection and vehicles wishing to join the D46 motorway are forced to slow down there.
Monitoring of User Activities on Workstations
Skopal, Aleš ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with proposal of a system for monitoring of user activities on workstations Windows XP over .NET 2.0 platform. The system should monitor running programs, processes and find out user activities in these programs like movement of the mouse or writing on the keyboard. A part of whole project is a suggestion of the system which contains specifications of requirements for this system, creation of the architecture, creation of important models, suggestion of the communication between separated part of system and final compile of results. The project should get information about user's activities and also information about usage of software installed on these workstations. The final system will be tested by use case study. Last but not least, project deals with ethic questions in the context of monitoring of users and discuss law questions about this project.
Memory Reduction of Stateful Network Traffic Processing
Hlaváček, Martin ; Puš, Viktor (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the problems of memory reduction in the stateful network traffic processing. Its goal is to explore new possibilities of memory reduction during network processing. As an introduction this thesis provides motivation and reasons for need to search new method for the memory reduction. In the following part there are theoretical analyses of NetFlow technology and two basic methods which can in principle reduce memory demands of stateful processing. Later on, there is described the design and implementation of solution which contains the application of these two methods to NetFlow architecture. The final part of this work summarizes the main properties of this solution during interaction with real data.
Adaptive Sampling of Input Packets Implemented in FlowMon Probe
Kaštovský, Petr ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
There is a FlowMon probe being developed in a Libeouter project that is used for passive network measurements. The probe has better stability and accuracy than sofware based solutions even under a heavy load or network attack. To guarantee a precision of results there is a need to data reduction to prevent measuring system overload. There are few kinds of data reduction. Method used in the FlowMon probe is called sampling. Adaptive sampling unit sets the sampling rate (rate of processed and discarded packets) according to actual state of measured network.
Design of Solar Hot Water Systems for Residential House
Kvapil, Jakub ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of a solar system for water heating in apartment building. The introduction covers solar collectors. The following part contains theoretical calculations according to the TNI 73 0302 standard. The thesis includes the design of solar system and its financial balance. The technological scheme is included in the appendix.
Monitoring Service Properties of an IPFIX Collector
Kala, Jan ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Wrona, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis addresses possible ways of monitoring IPFIX collector, which is used for the collection of metadata about network traffic. The thesis briefly introduces the pro- blematics of monitoring and describes the current state of IPFIX collector, which is being developed by an organization called CESNET. It also describes service properties, which can be monitored during the process of data collection using the IPFIX protocol. A new plugin is described, which is intended for the collection and the export of service properties. The thesis describes an implementation and contains results of testing of the new plugin.
Analysis of Trench Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors
Karlovský, Juraj ; Polčák, Josef (referee) ; Bábor, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the selection and optimalization of suitable analytical methods for study of TIGBT (Trench Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) structures with a use of methods, that depict material composition of the studied sample. The theoretical part contain explana-tions of the analytical methods used for measurements and basic principle of operation of an TIGBT transistor. The practical part contain the methodic of measurements and the evaluation of the obtained data and design of optimal procedures in done experiments.
Secure Transport of NetFlow and IPFIX Records
Štěpánek, Adam ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Podermański, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an IP flow based data network monitoring system. It presents the architecture of the NetFlow based monitoring, explains the basic terms, the NetFlow protocol and its alternatives. Further, weak spots of the monitoring systems are determined and a conceptual solution is proposed. This solution is implemented and described in detail. Finally, testing methods and results are discussed and the possibilities of further development and optimization are proposed.
